CHOCOLATE MOUSSE!

I am not typically a mousse person, but this recipe is SUPER easy, SUPER quick, and it tastes DELICIOUS. One word of advice though - you CAN use a lower quality blender or food processor, but be prepared to stop, manually shuffle some stuff around with a spatula, and blend again.


Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe avocados

  • 2/3 - 3/4 cup full fat coconut milk

  • 1/2 cup of raw cacao powder

  • 5 tablespoons of organic maple syrup

  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

  • 2 teaspoons of cinnamon

  • 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper

  • 1/4 teaspoon of fine sea salt

Directions:


Combine all ingredients in food processor or blender. *Start with 2/3 cup coconut milk, add more if needed. Recipe is based on large avocados, so adjust accordingly for smaller avocados. Blend until completely smooth. Spoon into small bowls or ramekins, and add toppings. Toppings can be ANYTHING. Nuts and seeds, berries, shaved coconut, etc. Make it your own! I recommend chilling for at least 30 minutes, but if you need some right away, enjoy!
